SEUNGRI DEPARTMENTS

The High Jump is a track and field event in which competitors must jump unaided over a horizontal bar placed at measured heights without dislodging it. In its modern most practiced format, a bar is placed between two standards with a crash mat for landing. In the modern era, athletes run towards the bar and use the Fosbury Flop method of jumping, leaping head first with their back to the bar. Performed since ancient times, competitors have introduced increasingly more effective techniques to arrive at the current form.
The discipline is, alongside the pole vault, one of two vertical clearance events to feature on the Olympic athletics programme. The most famous High Jumper, Rhee Kibum , was an Alumni of Seungri College.
Ever since his rise to fame, this department had gained numerous interest, both from potential student athletes and the media. The latter making it hard for some students to train off campus. This Department have an equal ratio of male to female students. They are known to have the best techniques out of all Seungri Students.
HIGH JUMP
Figure skating is a sport in which individuals, duos, or groups perform on figure skates on ice. It is skating characterized by the performance of various jumps, spins, and dance movements and formerly by the tracing of prescribed figures.
The students from this department are trained to have elegance , beauty and balance , none of which can be absent.
They have a very strict training program and are very protected by their coaches.
This Department has been producing the best figure skaters in the history of Korea ever since.
Most students from this department are females who posses great beauty and grace and thus considered to be the most popular in the college.
They are known to be the most elegant students of Seungri.
FIGURE SKATING

Archery is the art, sport, practice, or skill of using a bow to shoot arrows. The word comes from the Latin arcus, meaning bow.

Students from this department are not only trained in modern archery but are also trained in Kyudo which is a form of Japanese Martial Art.
While kyudo is primarily viewed as an avenue toward self-improvement, there are often kyudo competitions or tournaments whereby archers practise in a competitive style.
All of the Archery Students are trained in self discipline as well as grace. They are known to be the most beautiful students because of their uniforms as well as one of the most disciplined departments in Seungri.
ARCHERY
The name Taekwondo is derived from the Korean word "Tae" meaning foot, "Kwon" meaning fist and "Do" meaning way of. So, literally Taekwondo means "the way of the foot and fist".
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art, characterized by its emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques. It has been one of only two Asian martial arts (the other being judo) that are included in the Olympic Games.
This department has garnered multiple victories ever since it started. It highly boasts its intense training and the high quality alumni they produce each year. Students from this department value strict discipline and overall self control.
There are equal amounts of male and female students in this department. They are usually the students who help the school board with protecting the school , thus placing some of them in the disciplinary committee.
They are known to be the most disciplined students in Seungri.
TAEKWONDO
"A black belt is a white belt who never quit"

Soccer is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players with a spherical ball. It is played by 250 million players in over 200 countries and dependencies, making it the world's most popular sport.
The game is played on a rectangular field with a goal at each end. The object of the game is to score by getting the ball into the opposing goal. Players are not allowed to touch the ball with their hands or arms while it is in play, unless they are goalkeepers (and then only when within their penalty area).
Other players mainly use their feet to strike or pass the ball, but may also use their head or torso. The team that scores the most goals by the end of the match wins. Seungri is the most popular college when it comes to Soccer.
The department has produces very competitive and highly trained athletes through the years. Most students from this department are males but its also open to female soccer athletes. They are known to be the liveliest students in Seungri.
SOCCER
Fencing is a group of three related combat sports. The three disciplines in modern fencing are the foil, the épée, and the sabre (also saber); winning points are made through the weapon's contact with an opponent.

Fencing was one of the first sports to be played in the Olympics. There are three forms of modern fencing, each of which uses a different kind of weapon and has different rules; thus the sport itself is divided into three competitive scenes: foil, épée, and sabre. Most competitive fencers choose to specialize in one weapon only.
The department has been around for years and is one of the oldest departments in Seungri College. There are many Olympian Fencers who have graduated from this College.
The students from this department are known for their quick wits and majority of them come from influential families since Fencing is one of the sports that is enjoyed by upperclass families.
